Indeed, the good people you mention were so important back then, what with rationing, no tyres for the long wheelbase, and Tiddles getting caught in the rafters of the artificial insemination unit - altered as The Grannex, to accomodate dear Doris Webley-Bullock in her wayward escapades with Bunty Binstock!
The bell-tower was never repaired after being reduced to a pile of rubble owing to Dennis trying to handle a Grandsire Triples peal on his own, running back and forth light a maniac, which of course, he was!
The Wayfarer De Luxe was sold at auction and now belongs to a retired quantity surveyor in Droitwich with his third - or is it his fifth - wife, Agnes!

It is so lovely to revisit the place, Modo!

How time flies!
I well remember them all... now that the sodium pentathol is kicking in. Dear Wilcott Chaffey and his tortuous rambling.
Didn't Dr Mayhap-Cuddler get involved with one of the land-girls on Widdecombe's farm?
Something to do with a closer than normal inspection I seem to recall!
BTW, that pub looks remakably like my grandfather's pub near Shefford, Beds!
Do I know you...?
Do you mean the Brewery Tap Shanks..?
